I'll be on the show floorplan after tomorrow...at least I hope I am. So I'm not sure yet which booth we have. Should know more tomorrow.

Hi Kamala,
Looks like seahorsewrangler is from eastern Iowa, quite a drive from here. Last msg he posted, he thought you were not making this trip. Maybe you can send him an email that you will make the show.

For anyone who lives in the midwest, please note that this year Our-World-Underwater overlaps with the famous Chicago Auto Show (2/12-2/21). So if you make the trip, you can go for 2 shows in one trip, quite a good deal; AND you get to go to HH with your fellow divers .

I've been doing some checking - and BJ you're correct, I had given up thinking it was too late to book in the show - and with work being as it is I can't commit until I know for sure what's happening ( boss isnt forth coming) so for now it looks like I'm unable to assist..thou I wish I could.

Well, Kamala it appears as though Our S D'ers are small in numbers .It's your call ,for the HH.As far as the Date or Day.I would think Saturday the 20th.Thinking of your Travel day on Monday.Also,last day might not catch the ones that would stay longer ,Sat vs Sun.,Morton's vs Embassy.Your call.Between a post here and telling the visitors at the show about the HH.See what happens.
Early bird/Diver catches the ??????.Future member.

Agree on Saturday HH after the show - make sense. Look at each day's schedule: Friday show ends at 9 pm, too late, Sunday ends at 4 pm, too early, besides I have to leave at 2 or 3. I would definitely want the HH. Saturday ends at 6 pm. Perfect.

Kamala, I am working at the store on Saturday but will leave work to come up for the HH and it looks like I will be able to help you at your booth all day Sunday. I think the Mortons option for the HH is the best. Tim

And Saturday will be perfect for the Happy Hour & Dinner. We'll set it for when the show ends. I will need someone to get us a table in advance or save us space. (Not expecting a large crowd...THIS year but if we do the show again...we'll have a very big crowd.)

We'll do it at Morton's. (The menu sounded yummie!)

Ok have we forgotten anything? I will see if we can get a mail blast out to the members of the area to come and join us!

IMPORTANT HAPPY HOUR QUERY:

WHEN: Sat Feb 20th
WHERE: Morton's Steak House
TIME: Show ends at 6pm and since we should be a small group we have 2 choices...just those working the show reservation only for 6:30 or get to the restaurant early to secure a couple of tables or area of the bar hoping that people from the show will join us.

Ok so let us know how we should structure this so Greg can make a reservation for us!

Ok!! SD,No newcomers here. I am making reservations at Morton's for the HH party/dinner of 8,that would give us a few spare seats.The list I show as Kamala,Tim,BJmath,Neptuner?& myself.I will post again & confirm here,today...

Sounds like this show will be just dinner for the immediate crowd plus a few extra spaces for someone to join us. Next year we'll go for the big party like we normally do!

CONFIRMED FOR MORTON's ,6:30 PM party of 8 .I didn't want to gamble and wait any longer before it got to late.
Just a FYI,the reservation is under Greg w/Singledivers
