There's a nice sized group there - very welcoming and friendly. I'm trying to find a time myself to join in on some of their dives. Not that MN doesn' t offer some fantastic diving here... :wakawaka:

You're welcome here any time.

I think Tammy - Landlocked Dive Nut is going to be in FL then and there's a HH. Oh, but be afraid - you'll have experienced the SD HHs then and you might want your own in NJ. :birthday:

Thanks for the open invite to MN. If there's diving, I'm there. In fact, I need an excuse to visit my large retail client outside of MN...I might just tow along my gear!

If you're going to be in the Ft. Lauderdale area May 1/May 2, two OW candidates and I are flying in from Kansas City and will be there for some checkout dives on those dates, and some SD members are joining our boat on May 2. We're going to be on the American Dream II, you can book directly with them. And, we'll have dinner/drinks later that evening. You are most welcome to join us! Post if you can come, and I will send an email via angels@singledivers.com with my contact info so you can hook up. I have limited internet access this weekend, but I found the complimentary computers in the hotel business room, so I don't have to wait for WW to loan me her laptop! :wakawaka:

that's why I'm coming on those dates - you told me that on a different thread. I also have customer appreciation day in Cave Country on may 2 so it's a battle between the two! thanks for the info. I appreciate your invite and it would be great to connect with you folks.

Steve, Check the weather or give a call to a LDS in the area that you intend to go this weekend. We had 5-7ft seas here in Key Largo today and they are supposed to build through the weekend. Mind you... I am south of WPB and FLL but it is worth checking into... Zach
PS... but the visibility was 100ft and no current so good day anyway. At least today.
I wanna be the person that my dog thinks I am

Check out the SPREE...come dive with us!

hi Zach,
Thanks for the help. I did get 6-8' seas report from my LDS in WPB and then spoke to a very helpful and friendly SD member who told me she got reports of 5-7 outside in KL. I am going to hold off on the trip due to the uncertainty of the seas. I dove 7' seas in WPB earlier in the season and had awesome viz. Frankly, I'd be happy at the BHB in WP but I probably started too late.
Thanks!

Glad you got the info that you needed to make decisions with. Hope to see ya down here soon. There are plenty of SDs here on the East coast to join you. Who do you usually dive with in WPB? By the way... WPB is crawling (no pun intended) with frogfish this month. They can be found in "The Trench" and under the bridge as well.
Good diving, Zach

Boy Zach I really appreciate it. I LOVE the bridge and would LOVE to be there tomorrow or Sunday but don't have a DB and didn't leave enough time to find someone. I'd book a flight now!
Thanks for the help - I sincerely appreciate it. The frogman cometh! I love love love frogfish and would love to see 'm. I can't wait to seet some SDs ... that sounds bad. :)

In WPB, I've been diving with Pura Vida Divers. I really like the owners - Shana is awesome and passionate about animals like I am so we have what to talk about. She has treated me really well. Very happy with them. Their boat captain is great. The kids who work at the shop are great. She runs it with her hubby who is also a real nice guy. I'd recommend them in a jiff.

The Trench was my favourite reef in WPB diving so far. I LOVED that sucker...I somehow spent most of my time in the Tunnel area but the good stuff was in the Trench. I want to go!!!!

Sounds good Steve! I also like Shana and Dean. You probabily had Jake as Captain if Dean was not driving that day. Next time you see Shana ask her about her famous "sand castle cake" OMG!! It has chocloate starfish on top and ..... well just tell her I said hi!! Have a good one! Zach

Zach,
it sure is a small world. I'm glad you like Shana and Dean as well. You're right, it was Jake. he's a good guy and really cares about what he's doing. Tyler and Heath both took me to the bridge on different runs. One of those runs, with Heath, was a night dive...uh oh I shouldn't posting this in public...that started out as a night dive. You should have seen us running around sneaking running across backyards so we wouldn't be caught...what a trip. I'm 40 he's 20. He's in shape...I'm 40. :)
