U-boat and Racer184, I've got you both on the Interested List.

Never fear, you're not committing to anything right now except getting a notification from a Trip Coordinator when the trip details are officially posted & ready for booking!

Should be just like diving Ft. Pierce waters on a bad day. Can't see your hand in front of your face. :o

Hey gang...it seems the interest in this unique trip far exceeds possible demand. We may opt for two dates if we can squeeze it in or doing breaking the 4 day trip into (2) 2 day trips i.e. Friday/Sat and Sun/Monday.

Sadly the tides will not allow us to do two back to back 4 days trips despite operators in the area that run every weekend. The tides simply do not cooperate 50% of the time.

IMPORTANT TIDE AND TRIP UPDATE:

The tides are what allow for this trip to be successful. Too much and you can't hold your position looking for teeth...you are merely swept along the bottom. Too little and the silt won't move creating a black out situation even with a high intensity light. Just right and you will get (4) nearly perfect one hour dives in a day! WOW!!!

The luxury of not operating in Charleston means you don't have to run a charter every weekend regardless of the currents/tides. And since the tides are usually only conducive for a 3-4 day stretch several times a month (and not always on weekends) :birthday: it is optimal that at least one operator I know ONLY runs charters when the tides/currents are conducive to primo diving conditions.

Sept as it turns out is an odd month. There is only one 3-4 day stretch which is the 13-16th which means traveling on Sunday the 12th and diving 13-15th or 13-16th.

August has one good doable stretch of the 13th-16th and October looks great for 1st-4th.

With the T&C trip the 4th to 11th of Sept I am hesitant to run back to back trips. AND I am not certain most of you would be willing to take off essentially all weekdays to do this trip in Sept. So that leaves either August as an option or early Oct.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you! kamala

Since I absolutely have to fly in and out for this one if I am able to do one of those dates, the best option for me is the October dates (Oct 1-4), when we would be fairly well into the school year with things running smoothly and I could use my two personal days to travel with the weekend to dive. I'm a little iffy though, because I really enjoyed the Halloween Cozumel trip this last year... and I could only pull off one or the other, but that's my take on the dates, I'm sure others will chime in.

August or September would be preferred. But any date will do for me.
