I can't make this trip this year, but I did do this trip with SD a few years back. The diving was spectacular and one of those great trips that offer more than great diving. The history of the wrecks we were diving is one of those things you talk about time and time again and then there were the fireworks, the parade of tall ships, and of course one of the best highlights of the dive trip was the hanging out with the SD crowd making life long friends! :D

Have a great trip and I am glad to see you are planning NC trips again!

I've updated the Interested List. Whooee! There are some exceptionally fine cabana boys interested in this trip! I'd be tempted by that as an added incentive (as if the diving wasn't already incentive enough!)

Too bad the waters are reported as being rougher than I can handle!!
I am such a wave wimp.....

This would be within driving distance for me but above my skill level. I would be interested if there is a non-diving option; see the sights above water and hang out with some cool people.

Clint lets see how you do in Cozy...if you are a natural I may just take you under my wing and be your buddy...kind of an extended rent-a-buddy thing. In fact the R-A-B was created for this diving venue...of course this is where I learned myself.

And yes there are cool 'above water' things to do. I will have it posted soon so you all can start some serious planning. I hope it sells out quickly!

BUMMER! She was amazing to have on our trip!

And yes I'm glad to be offering an NC option again! Not sure we can do it annually but for sure we'll do it next year. If it sells out well we may add it again. Of course I'd like that...I love this venue!

If the Bonaire trip is in Mar or Apr (preferred), then I can swing the July trip. But if it is in June, I think i would rather go to Bonaire.

Laura,
You don'y need deep or wreck certs to enjoy NC. The max depth is usually 115-120fsw..well within the range of NITROX and AOW. I'd get some more dives in (visit Kamala in SC) or head to NC with a buddy. There are a lot of folks looking for an excuse to head to Morehead and you still have the rest of this season to make the trip.

If you have any questions just ask.
