:twist: DiverDoug...glad you stopped by and hope that you will call this home. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here that are ready and willing to help in anyway, all you have to is ask.

Woohoo, another fellow Texan.....just what we needed here. B) Looks like us Texans are taking over the board.

DiverDoug don't forget to take a look at our website at SingleDivers.com. We are constantly upgrading and would love to see you on one of our upcoming trips.

Also, please tell us a little bit about yourself as well as your experiences, diving that is. :-D

Again, welcome to our little place on the net.

Hi Doug,

Welcome! Why don't you tell us a tad about yourself?

I'm sure there isn't a thread about us on Scubaboard. Who invited you or whose link did you notice? I try to give credit when I can.

Welcome!

What is it with all you Texans?!? Hey Walter, since you're the stat guru, what percent of our members are from the Great State?

Well, since you asked, 8% of our members are from the Great State of Florida. 62% of them are women.

There are even more members from California - 12%, of which 58% are men.

The state with the most members, so far, is Texas with 24% of our total membership. Since Wreck Wench is our biggest recruiter and she makes her home in Texas. Another aspect that might be a direct result of her recruiting practices is 71% of our Texan members are men.

Very interesting.

Thanks, Walter ... sounds like I may need to pack up my tent and move to Florida!

Now how am I not surprised that Wreck Wench is stacking the Texan cards in her favor....... hmmm? ;-)

Jamie,

Come on down or is that east. The water is fine here, not cold like in CA. At least it was when I did my Open Water dives in LaJolla. Apparently there are more female divers in FL than men. No wonder I'm on this site. :fish2:
