If it was a SD trip, there would have been some of us that would have come down for it, like I did for NC last year! July 4th makes for a great dive weekend.

Its an SD event but not a full trip. Just got the details worked out but anyone in town who wants to dive...its a great opportunity!

And speaking of NC...I'm hoping to offer NC next year for the 4th of July! :teeth:

Unfortunately, I did not think to post it earlier, since it's really a trip that I put together mostly for my students. Maybe Kamala and I can figure out a way to coordinate better for future trips of this type.

Just thought I would post a follow-up on this topic. I didn't have any takers for the diving while we were in Boynton Beach (which is understandable, given the short notice), but had a great time anyways. We did 9 dives over three days, including several reef dives, a wreck dive (M/V Beck's), and a night dive on Delray Ledge (my personal favorite of all the reefs down there). The fireworks were spectacular, and we had a ringside seat - on the water, about a quarter mile away from the barge.

I am definitely going back for this same trip next year!
