You might want to stay in Burlingame, I stayed there last year going to Yamaha school, it is right by the airport to the left coming out of it. The hotels have a bus that takes you over into the town the hotels on the other side of the freeway, i spent two days walking checking out the bus dist, nice little shops, i walked front the hotel to bart to head into S.F. , nice old restraunts, not S.F. but not the traffic or the prices either.

Burlingame has beautiful neighborhoods to walk through rain or shine. It's a short ride to delicious restaurant / café food, movies, and social bars, in the city called San Mateo. The Cal-Train schedule between the downtown San Francisco (AT&T Park) and Burlingame has changed. I think it makes several daily stops in Millbrae (the BART connection to SFO airport) and San Mateo.

Blush (Burlingame) was as trendy as Ruby Skye (San Francisco) or Club Aura (Pleasanton), last time I was there.

Paragon (bar/restaurant) is gone (the one at AT&T Park often busy). Burlingame has SBUKs. I go to the various cafés that were there first.

If you were here longer you could go play at St. James Gate in San Carlos. Good people. Good live music. Excellent bartenders. Plus, some of the best dining on the peninsula is just over at Laurel St. Italian food makes loud, live, American rock music taste even better! Um, "tasty music."

Did anyone mention anything about the comedy clubs yet?

Ah-nold's got drama. Lake Berryessa was closed for the season the last time I checked; government never got around to park contracts. I heard the businesses in the area my all go bust. Also, the Skunk Train should be on every tourist map...talk about American History! I was at the Skunk Train Depot last March. It was closed and had a chain-link fence around the entire place. It's got to be one of the best ways to take in the forest. If the Parks service ever gets a moment of inspiration or motivation and re-opens the landmark, I'd do it!

By the way, I'm against spas. They "ease tension," "erase," "cleanse," "detox," "relax the body," "drain," "slow," cause some kinda "peace," and in my opinion, cook your goose. People who do this to other people are probably part of that Tectonic Plate Movement. It's big, and shaking things up in California. I read, "Stop the Tectonic Plate Movement!" Who's responsible?

Wine tasting is better. Live long, and imbibe!

Be careful if you can. Sonoma is making this area a romantic hot spot. If you enjoy the wine too much you might end up married... so I hear.

Well, "'Yes,' and 'No!'" Drink whisky, and then come back and read that again. That way you'll understand what that means...

Las Vegas might go like >> "OMG! :respect: I never thought I'd ever get married!!!"

Wine Country version might sound different >> "OMG! 'I must'a been drunk! :missu: What did you say your name was?'"

I didn't make that up. Like they say, Good things happen to bad people... um... wait... "Bad things happen to good people!"
