I did, indeed, celebrate in grand style.....I was in the water, unfortunately not diving, though. Cass aka Hammered Head organized a float trip for 3 others plus me. It was a very unusual couple of August days in Missouri.....only mid to upper 70's, clear skies, light wind. Beautiful! A couple of pics:
Pic #1. I wore my "queen for a day" tiara for the whole float trip! All other floaters on the river got to recognize the Birthday Girl, and I was serenaded & wished Happy Birthday the entire float.
Pic #2. Cass was loaded for beer.....
Pic #3. There were a couple of younger guys who were smashed very early in the float, so we hauled the one ready to pass out into our raft where he couldn't tip anyone over.....
Pic #4. Cass generously volunteered to ride in the canoe with the one not that far gone (besides, he still had beer in his cooler, and WE were out!!), and look what happened, not once, but multiple times! Note their canoe leaving the picture - without them - rapidly.......you may also notice that her beer is still above water!
We got back to the cabin bruised, shoulders aching, but we had a blast and I hope we can do it again next year!
(well, hell, the pics don't show in the right order, but you all can tell which is which! )

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Cassie. *sigh* Dear, sweet, confused Cassie. Don't you see what this means? Obviously, you are a Dazzling Dive Diva, the perpetual center of attention and creator of all the fun! Of course you are a constant candidate for the Eye that Never Blinks!
On the other hand, it may merely be this hallucinogenic that makes you so photogenic.
Uh-oh. A gag too far again? Drat! Back to my horsefly infested hidey-hole...
Finally broken to plow and harnessed to the traces. How may I help you today? Questions welcomed to charlies@singledivers.com

I've got a really handy Slap-Tacker Stapler I use to intall insulation! It will hold about anything! However, I suggest a few Tylenol and a case of beer before installation.
