:welcome: Seems like it was yesterday I was pushing my kids on the swing... Yesterday my oldest son turned 16! Today they both start there scuba lessons! They are both excited. I can't wait till they get cert. I just wanted to share the excitement...

Both my 14 y/o and 16 y/o dive. I have had the best time with them underwater. It really is like doing it again for the first time. You get to re-experience it all over again.

gee, just think.....not only will you spend ridiculous amounts of money on YOUR equipment....you'll now get to spend THREE TIMES AS MUCH!!!!!!

oh, you lucky devil!!!!

actually, i got one of my nieces certified a few years back. at the time, she used my spare gear. now she's going for her AOW up in milwaukee, so i gave her my extra gear (ca-CHING!!!)

but it is a blast to dive with her. i love teaching her the things i learned....

 Kids make the best students, especially when it's something they want to learn. I'm sure your kids will do great and also get hooked on diving.

My 2 kids and niece got certified when the youngest of them made the age limit - this was their 4th summer of diving and next week they start their Advanced class. (They got tired of me going on dive vacation without them - they don't realize I'm still going to go on dive trips without them) :twist:

They are also the reason I did the DiveCon certification - it was getting tricky keeping track of 3 of them as they became more curious divers.
Any time spent in, on, around or underwater adds days to your life.
