Are any of our members in Afghanistan? I will be headed there in the beginning of Dec. I’ll be able to move pretty freely so I can come visit you if you are locked down. :D8>)
If not, I’ll see about hosting the first Afghanistan SD Happy Hour! :teeth:

I think it gives 'muck' diving a whole new meaning! :teeth:

Not sure who is still in Afghanistan but perhaps you can help us with names for the care packages once you get there!

I think we did on HH someplace over there...wait...that may have been you who sponsored it! Maybe we can arrange it on a night when other HH's are going on...or day... and do a live internet thing! I'm really checking into the web pod cast thingy!

No problem. I have a Sametime server at my home. It's 100% free video confrencing and instant messaging. I'll set something up. Don't forget about the time diffrerences. Oh yeah, and you can't get the good scotch over there! :teeth:

How well can you shoot? ARe you trained in hand to hand combat? If so, we can use you. If not, we use local talent for engineers and such. (lots of well educated people locally.)

I'll keep you in mind in case something comes up. In the mean time, take up karate! :flirt:

I joined SD when I was in Afghanistan. Had the first HH in good old Jalalabad! Only 6 month tour? Not bad. Haven't seen one of those since Ranger Bat. Guess the "cool guys" get the shorter ones as well. As far as the scotch goes, Johny Walker is pretty easy to come by. Black and Red label. Let me know where you'll be and I'll see what I can do for ya haha.

I'm still only a two hour flight away in Abu Dhabi - let me know of any Afghanistan members are passing though our way and Sue and I will arrange an SD HH in Dubai. :wakawaka:
