If you don't mind getting up really early, I think you will find plenty of parking available at that time of day.

Just a inquiry for you Floridian's.Recently caught a article on the Vandenberg Ship that was sunk last May.it is on the east side of Fl,if I recall..Has anyone done that Wreck dive yet??

Thanks Marie,didn't mean to interupt your HH here or thread.I probably should have posted a separate thread. I'll peak in and see if anyone has any information in the future..A friend of mine lives in The Villages .I think hes near Tampa??GregI'm in for a HH!

Vandenburg is down off of Key West. There is a new wreck sunk off of FLL, to save my life tho I cannot remember the name. I think someone on the board here did mention that she dove on it.....

Hey, we alll watch this one since typically we dive and then go for the HH. The two seem to go hand in hand here on Florida. The Villages is near the Ocala area. Kinda the middle north. I will refrain from making any wise cracks about the Villages....

For the South Florida divers: We have mooring buoys in Broward (Ft. Lauderdale area) and Monroe (the Keys) counties, working on getting more off Miami and in Biscayne National Park.
Putting a call out for this Tuesday (Homestead) and Wednesday (Miami). Please attend one of the public workshops if you can. Last time Miami Dade Reef Guard attended, the meeting was full of local sport fishermen and not many divers. Let's spread the word around the diving communities and SHOW UP! HAVE A VOICE! Protect our reefs.

Ummm.... any of our South Florida friends have plans brewing that we might morph into a DoM event? The panhandle has been languishing under stalled front, blustery with grey, rainy skies and diminished vis on inshore sites. Kinda makes a guy yearn to grab his gear, pack a grip and set course for the Keys (or WPB! Or FTL!)...

Had dinner last night with Pam and Zak (sp) last night from Rainbow Reef. Boy this week has been nice here. Was in the water yesterday and a big manatee came by just to say HI. Why do I still live in New Mexico?
