SCHEDULED 7 Night /8 DAY ITINERARY:
While YOUR personal Belize Experience may vary due to weather and conditions, the outline below will give you a good feel for the exciting week in store for you!
Days Prior to start of our trip: If you wish to arrive early or want to combine other diving adventures in conjuntion with this one let us know. We can add days to the FRONT or the END of your week as well as several days of local site seeing on Ambergris Cay or other parts of Belize and Guatemala.NOTE:
Jan 9 Saturday: You will fly into Belize City BZE and then catch a local flight generally every 2 hours to Ambergris Cay to San Pedro airport. The local flight is less than an hour and you'll need some time at the airport to catch the flight as well as allow time for your luggage to be transferred to the flight. (We'll have a list of flight times posted shortly for you to help with your planning.) From the San Pedro airport we'll travel by truck/carts to the resort. The resort is on the water and very close to town.
Jan 10th Sunday to Jan 14th Thursday: These 5 days will be our group package 3 tank dives off the boats. (2 dives starting at 8am and then an afternoon dive starting at 2pm.) There is no shorediving due to the frequent boat travel of the local water taxis that run on the hour up and down the island. Breakfast is available at a new restaurant on premises for $3-6 on average as is lunch. WE SUGGEST YOU EAT AT THE LOCAL RESTAURANT TO ENSURE YOU ARE BACK IN TIME FOR THE BOAT. Then you can then take a quick siesta, shop, relax or head to the beach bar Frijoles after the day is finished. Dinner is on your own in one of Belize's MANY AND DELICIOUS eating establishments and follows Happy Hour. Rooms come with a refrigerator for those that might want to hit a local grocery store. They are a bit pricey but for the light eater this is an option. An early evening for some follows dinner and socializing, and some will want to do a night boat dive $50 and some will continue to enjoy the ambiance of the town or Frijoles Bar. All in all...it will be a ton of fun for a SMOKING GREAT price!
Jan 15th Friday: Depending if we have slipped one of our pkg dives to do a day of far offshore diving at Blue Hole or Turneffe Reefs this day will either be the last day of your pkg or an optional day of diving for those wanting to do one of the exciting diving venues near the island of Ambergris Cay namely the famous Blue Hole or Turneffe's Reefs. Otherwise this day will be free for activities and sightseeing or just cleaning gear, packing or relaxing.
Other Activities: Throughout the week you can do local sightseeing and activities such as fishing or renting a golf cart and exploring the island. We will spend a great deal of time in town as we experience the wonderful culinary delights of Belizian food each night for dinner. At some time during the week we'll go to the orphanage or foster home and try to personally bring our school supplies to the children. These interactions with the kids are usually very moving and powerful...don't miss it! Since this will be our last night we'll have a group BBQ hosted by SingleDivers.com and Tides Beach Resort to celebrate the fantastic week of diving and fun!
Jan 16th Saturday: This is departure day and most flights back to Belize City will be early. You will arrive at the local airport, check in, get a boarding card and wait for the next arrival flight. A quick turnover and the plane will be ready for boarding to BZE. Do keep approx $32 for your exit tax out of the country.

DAYS AFTER JAN 16th: For those who opt for the add'l extra days your departure will vary but the process will be the same.
Boat Diving We'll dive on fully covered dive boats with most sites being 15-30 minutes away. Some of the new exploratory sites will be closer to 45-60 minutes since we are close to town. However the tradeoff is walking distance to town...or 5 minutes boat rides. Most prefer the longer boat ride and the flexibility of being closer to town and activities. For those not sure what we mean when we say we are going to do some exploratory dives we mean we will literally go to some parts of the reef that the dive operator has NEVER been to before. SEAS & WEATHER DEPENDANT. We'll be looking at terrain that has either NEVER been dove before or very very infrequently. The sites we will go to will not have names...so maybe we'll end up naming an amazing site or two ourselves!

a. I have trip insurance that covers this trip already.

c. I will not purchase trip insurance and will accept all losses accordingly. - THIS TRIP DOES NOT REQUIRE TRIP INSURANCE BUT IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:
SingleDivers.com has implemented a new secure payment gateway that allows you to pay for trips or merchandise using either an e-check which debits your checking account directly without having to mail in a check or debits your credit card without having to fill out a SD.com credit card authorization form. (Please note that any non-US bank originating credit card must still use the paper credit card authorization form as different processing procedures must be followed to process international/non-US credit cards.)
SingleDivers.com provides its members with pricing that reflects all possible cash discounts so any payments via credit card or paypal will still incur a 3% non-cash convenience fee. Our SECURE payment gateway which you can access by clicking the PAY SD NOW button below is not a shopping cart and therefore can not total your trip choices nor add the 3% non-cash convenience fee if you are paying via credit card. You will need to enter that data manually to proceed with your payment.

Hey folks if you are gamblers and opt to NOT take out trip insurance during hurricane season that is great! However please understand that neither the resort/dive operator nor SingleDivers.com can help you out with your gambling losses. SD.com accepts a huge amount of liability to fill ALL the trips we run OR EAT THE SPOTS.
I can assure you that I have paid plenty of gambling losses this year. But I won't gamble with my life (I have both DAN and DIVE ASSURE for Dive Insurance) and I won't gamble with my trips...(I have the annual policy by DIVE ASSURE which covers ALL MY DIVE TRIPS!) So the choice is yours....bet on no hurricanes, no accidents, no illness, no deaths in the family, no job loss, no immediate death/injury to yourself* ...and laugh in the end when your bet pays off. But when it does not...PLEASE
PLEASE PLEASE do not expect the resort nor dive operator nor SingleDivers.com to refund your money because your bet did not pan out. NOTE: One of the reason's we have you finalize your extras and pay for everything by 30-60 days out is so you have more flexibiity getting trip insurance. Please take a moment TODAY to do this important task.
*If you think it can't happen to you please think again...sadly we just lost a member going on the 10-09 Galapagos trip that MANDATED TRIP INSURANCE and yet sadly he never got it before his tragic demise. 
PLEASE obtain TRIP INSURANCE - IT IS [color="#ff0000"]STRONGLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS TRIP ...it is VERY inexpensive and will protect your investment.
