I was web surfing today and found this Dive operation. So I drove over and talked to John Olivero, the manager at the dive shop. They have a very nice shop, lodge, indoor pool, dive boat set up. I would be game for a dive trip here when the weather is a bit more conducive to diving. The ship wrecks look awesome, snorkeling with humpbacks and Icebergs and the view from the dive lodge is indescribable. He told me there is no such thing as cold water just bad gear. Don't ask about water temps. You don't want to know.

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

JERRY,FANTASTIC. I can feel the cold
temp through the screen.Never saw a White nose dolphin..Nice video's of some wrecks,1942--.

I could be up for this... once I get a VERY VERY dry suit of course. Looks so cool it is downright cold.

Sweet!! How are the wrecks up there? What's the word from the diver operator on wrecks...depth, typical conditions, etc?
They have 5 shipwrecks they dive regularly one is in 60 feet of water. 3 are in the 100-120 class and the 5th is 161 to the seabed. They list the vis as 80 to 100 feet. Most of these are U-boat kills from 1942. There is a German torpedo on the bottom near one of the wrecks that is a unique sight to behold (see their picture gallery)
It is strictly drysuit diving conditions.
