I need to sleep on this one. The Blue Hole in Belize got me interested in the caves plus I would love to see whale sharks. Big fish are cool I was planning on Turks & Caicos but since I'm doing Myaguana already T&C may not be a great choice. So is that logic sound?

Scott they are entirely different even though the islands are close. I usually do this BEST OF MEXICO every other year. Its been 4 years at least since I did T&C. FYI...

I'm still in Newfoundland but when I get back I'll work my leave situation and try to get this booked before the early bird special is gone! I'm interested in staying another day or two to visit the ruins. And maybe another Cenote dive or two.

Jerry this trip will not be suited EASILY to get more Cenotes diving in. Its designed to be a 'taste' but not a full meal!

If we get enough interest we can do a longer Cenotes trip but the logistics are not great. Its doable but you will have a very long ride back from Cancun backttracking where we were to get more dives in. That is why I'm stacking so many dives in the Cozy part of the trip and even offering a 4th dive daily for our diehards so we can make up for 2 days of not diving with the whalesharks.

NOTE: Having now dove with them and snorkeled with them....snorkeling is BETTER!!! They dive deep very quickly and you can't catch them. In Holbox they are set on feeding so they interact A LOT!!!!

Yes that is doable and I'm looking into that now before anyone books a ticket home! Plus I hope to join you all if I can. Its getting close to the July NC trip and I have to get some work done so not sure if I can swing it or not but am checking on it. k

Hi Carla, You can also fly Maya Air from Cancun to Cozumel. If I remember correctly it is about $75.00 for a one way. A couple of SD'ers and I did that back in October. Fairly easy transfer, you have to switch to the domestic terminal when you arrive in Cancun, but there is a free shuttle.

For the halloween trip, I used Frontier for a direct flight from Denver to Cancun and then used Maya Air as a shuttle across to Cozumel. They run a flight every other hour out of another terminal in the cancun airport and I think the flight is $60 one way. We had no weight limitations.

I know WW wrote up a post on it in the Halloween Cozy trip thread last October so its there.

Yes you would return the 27th to allow the 26th for the sightseeing.

YES that is a great fare. Mine is looking to be closer to $700.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Several premier members are having problems getting registered on the site. They did however pay for the trip deposit so will be added to the list accordingly.

Also note that while the early payment discount goes until Feb 2nd, the Early Booking for Premiers only goes to Jan 26th and not Feb 2nd. I was off a week. Sorry. Kamala
