I may be mui loco considering this would be one week after returning from Red Sea and ending one week before NC coast, but a couple of questions before I act further-- would the chichenitza trip be on saturday from cancun which means one should book return on june 27 and having looked already at delta and usair options i found usair round trip from rdu to czm and cun to rdu for 430 dollars, i wondered how this fare rates in the airfare world?

Yes you would return the 27th to allow the 26th for the sightseeing.

Can you fly out of Charlotte? Looks like you could get $487 from there

Thanks for the info on Maya air. I'll check into that. It's just so much easier to fly direct from Denver to Cancun too bad that Frontier stops their flights to Cozumel in the summer

Just booked this itinerary for $430.84. Note short layover on return but US Air has several more flights starting just over an hour later should customs or flight issues delay.

ONLY the base trip has to be paid by Feb 2 for the discount. I need to get some more pricing for extra pkgs in Cozy only etc. And I am not sure about pricing for sightseeing at the end.
