Just a heads up...the Florida Dive Show will be in West Palm Beach again this year and we'll be there. The dates are Dec 4th and 5th! We'll need volunteers for the booth, Happy Hour joiners and planners and hopefully even get a dive in around the show!

Who's planning to be there? Who can help in the booth? And who wants to go to our world famous SingleDivers.com Happy Hour??

I'll be working at a different booth. I won't be able to help at the SingleDivers.com booth but I will be sending people your our way !

Everybody take note that this year the show is Friday evening and Saturday. They added Friday evening and removed Sunday this year.

Everybody from SingleDivers.com that comes by our booth gets a free handshake !

Has anyone from out of town considered making a trip out of this show I have never been to a dive show and the air is still in the $200 range from Atlanta. I would definitely consider a road trip if anyone else is interested in sharing a hotel room!

Considering that the Dive Show is Friday evening and Saturday, and that Sunday is open.................

Should we schedule a Florida DIve of the Year on Sunday ? ? ?

Hey...a dive of the year could be in the works...I know its late notice but I am booking my ticket now and I may be able to return Monday vs Sunday so that is an option. Once I book it I will let you know. Brad's changing the date's has skewed this show for me so will have to juggle to get it all to work out. (The other difficulty is bringing dive gear AND tradeshow stuff...usually it has to be one or the other!)

Sorry for the delay in replying...

Anyone think they can help us at the booth? Or is there not enough interest and we should consider other options for this prime date in December?

You could ship your gear by FedEx ground, except for your weights.

Ship your weights in a US postal Service "flat rate box", or just borrow some.

RATS...tickets were not conducive to diving...so I have to return on Sunday.

Will plan for this better next year if we do the show now that the schedule has been changed to be the same format he uses on all his other shows. -ww

Happy Hour will be FRIDAY after the show!!!

We'll head to the mall that is nearby where we usually go and enjoy a drink, food and GREAT COMPANY!!!

I will plan on being there.

Though I will not be staying late as we'll be at the show again Saturday morning.

Forecast for Thursday is seas 6 ~ 8 feet, Friday / Saturday 4 ~ 6 foot. So maybe it will be down to 1~2 on Sunday.

High tide at Blue Heron Bridge will be 07:33 on Sunday. Anyone want to get in the water at sunrise ?

Because it is a Sunday after the Dive Show, it may have more than the usual number of divers there.
Because it is so early in the morning on this date, it may have very few divers.

Sunrise is 06:53. If we start the dive around 07:15 we might get to see some 'night life' .

Wreck Wench, are you bringing your diving gear? The water temperature is likely to be around 76 F.

Hey darling I am officially taking a rain check. I have to return on Sunday so will miss THIS chance to dive the bridge.

But the promoter has said he intends to leave the new format of Fri/Sat for next year so if that is the case AND we get some helpers for next year (this year I am by myself in the booth and its too much work to not even be able to go to the bathroom without leaving the booth unattended) we will plan a dive the day after the show.

Otherwise I'll give it a year or so break and do some shows in other parts of the country where we have help.
