Don't tell me you have given up on kicking your email composing dog in the head every morning. You had so much energy in Belize.

Well its good that you posted this since will have to do it TODAY. I haven't been to the gym since right before Belize because of the weather and my cold which I am now over enough to actually go back. What works for me is to just trudge through it and do it. I hate going back but after 2-3 days its not so bad and then the body starts to crave it again. Keep looking one week ahead. Thats the only thing that works for me. Start back slow. I'm looking at 3 weeks to overcome. Getting rid of the cold weather would help...

COME OOOOONNNNNNN WARMING GODS... toast it up down here!!!!

That made me laugh out loud. Don't worry, I still kick him. Poor thing, I opened a under counter cabinet the other day and gave him a good elbow strike to the head. He's a little needy and clingy and unfortunately I'm not always aware that he's right there so he gets hit. No doubt he's thrilled the morning kick-boxing has stopped.

Okay, let's make a deal - I will if you will today.

by the way did you edit my post? I could swear I did not write WARMING GODS. Having flashbacks to a particular dinner in Belize right now. Thats ok, somebody has got to keep me out of trouble. Lord knows, I'm not that great at it lately :P

Yeah, Kamala gave me special authority to edit only YOUR posts cuz I have way more sense then you do. Really though, what fun is staying out of trouble? :P

I was going to ask if that was the commando dinner but that sounds really bad. So um, the dinner where you got an edited nick-name?

Deal.

At dinner the conversation degraded to boxers/briefs/commando and Scott (Cmdr Clownfish) answered when he heard the word commando. Thus, Cmdo Clownfish was born. And what a great nick-name as it can be so totally misconstrued.

If you're on a trip with Scott - he's great fun to tease.

No not that, from exercise! :P

Have you had an off week where you just can't find the motivation? What do you do to get past it?

OK Lynn, did my part. 1.5 miles in 15 minutes on an elliptical machine set on mud. I usually do 3 miles but that would have resulted in much unpleasantness today. There is your motivation.

Just one more service I offer.

You are the full service moderator, aren't you?

Hey, we were working out at the same time! I did 20 minutes of kickboxing (sans dog assaults) and 10 minutes running on the treadmill (sorry Rodney). I have no idea how far or fast as the display quit working two years ago. I love running to disco tunes. :P

'Charm' exactly. Sure other people might call it annoying... :lmao:

What was that Rodney was saying about 5 miles to get opiates to the brain? Maybe I'm just experiencing oxygen deprivation.

Go to Mexico and drink Coronas on the beach.
Actually my knees have been swelling a bit from being a runner, the wet weather and working a lot of 12 hr overtime on my feet all day. So I have been doing some really cool mountain hikes this month instead of running. - D
Ain't love a BEACH?
