Here's the scoop on the Happy Hour!

We will meet on Friday Feb 19th at Bostons in Delray Beach.

I'm thinking 7pm would be good time to meet for those driving in and for those planning to dive either Friday or getting up early to dive Saturday. Any other thoughts? I will wait to make a reservation depending on how many people decide to join us. So far I have:

That sounds good to Gabe and I . And yes your right on the DiverGabe. See you all there. We will driving up from Key Largo diving down there on Wed, Thr and Fri. Would like to dive up at FT Laud if anyone is going out on Sat. Let me know.

Awesome Bruce! I hope you can squeeze a visit with your local fan club in between your world tour! How about the possibility of a belated birthday toast/drink to entice you over?!

I just spoke with Holly aka a_fl_mermaid and she is planning on joining us too. So is DivingDeb! It's beginning to look like a party!

I'm not sure if I could make the HH on Friday but if anyone would like to do the bridge on Saturday I would probably be able to join. I'll post if things change at all. But you can pencil me in as a possible.

BeachJunkie, Gabe and I would love to dive Saturady. We have never dove the "bridge" before. We would have to know where and when on Sat. I will need to get tanks and lbs for both. We can do that on Friday.

Deb is planning on diving the bridge on Saturday too. She dives it almost every weekend so will be a good resource. Call Force E Scuba for tanks and weights. They are located right as you get to the bridge so easy to pick up and return and really nice folks to work with.

Yes I will be at both HH on Fri & diving the bridge on Sat & Sun with a friend from California & the usual cast of characters. Diving the bridge lately is a new exercise in search & find due to the bridge construction on my favorite side. This is a muck dive in every sense of the word so if viz is bad it is hard to keep close to your dive buddy. I am happy to meet anyone new & explain what you will see in the area that we plan to dive. On Sat I plan to be at the East side at 10:30 in at 11am. I go in an hour before HT & dive,in the winter, for about 2hours. We are finding 2 different species of nudibranchs & bumblebee shrimp on almost every dive.These are macro subjects so if you don't have a macro lens remind me to bring my magnifying glass. No seahorses lately but the eagle rays are still around as are the manatees. Of course, I don't see them on every dive. Water temp is ~73 so dress warm. I bring jugs of warm water to pour down my wetsuit when I get out! It is a great dive & there is always something great to see.
Cindi will be shocked to hear that I actually skipped the bridge this weekend because of the cold air temp.
