Hey Gang....WOW! Great response so far! As you know I need to monitor those driving and those flying as the price of rental vans doubled.

Rooms are not an issue...the hotel has plenty of rooms.

I am glad to see that many of the drive ins are staying the last night...its sooooooooooooo much more fun that way...even if you have to leave early...its still better!

NOTE: I'm in the Houston Airport so will work on payments asap. No worries I can already see that all of you have paid so your spot is secure. k

I can't seem to click on anything to get that wonderful listing of everything you need to know.

So here goes:
I wish to attend this diving function by driving with my Nitrox tanks (100's w/1st fill);
I'd like to stay DO with an extra night;
I'd like to use a Cochran
If I'm right that's $750+56(4x14)+65(listed as SO)=$871 of which I'm sending $300
I have DAN and I'll get trip ins--maybe
They can fill DIN tanks ,yeah?

I would hold off right now and look again starting the middle of april. Right now the airlines average fares are 3x what they were a week ago (American in some cases being 4-5x). I know as im looking at 4 other tickets right now and im scratching my head as to if those trips are going to be worth it.

I am confused about tank rental price. I am assuming this price is per day but does it include the refill for the second dive? I would expect to pay for a rental AND refill each day??? Would I expect wrong here?

If you have your own tanks your price is FILLS. If you do not have tanks your Price is RENTALS and yes the rental price includes the gas in them. However just so everyone knows...you are paying for the RENTAL not the gas. If you take the tank on the boat and opt to not do a dive you still pay for the tank rental as you prevented another customer from using it. That is why we list it as fills and rentals.

Also note that if you need FILLS...you need to come with your first fill IN THE TANK. There will not be time to do fills before the trip. Also come with a mix that is 31-30%. If you mix is too high you will be severely limited by how deep you can go. Wrecks can range from 80 to 130 feet. But if you use a mix that can ONLY be used at 80 ft you are in trouble if we choose a wreck that is 120. These wrecks do not have a lot of profile you can't just stay shallow.
