Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Sounds like a scary topic to me!!! Why was Captain PP in a cave for anyway???
Hmmm, I think that question answers itself!
(what happened in Atlanta, stays in Atlanta.....NOT!!)

Hey Jim, what's the address for your link? Somehow it didn't get in your post....
It's not intended as a link, guys, but just an underlined-for-emphasis word!

Beth drove up from Birmingham, and having lived in Atlanta before, she acted as a guide all day Saturday for Cindy & me since this was our first trip to the city. Thank you, Beth! You were a great guide.
We started out at the World of Coke, and ended up tasting way more samples than we should have. We had a leisurely lunch, then headed to the Georgia Aquarium, which is totally COOL imho.
I took video at the aquarium, but can't load that. Maybe I'll figure out YouTube some day....
Then it was on to the Happy Hour. Beth, Cindy & I got there at 6pm and managed to snag a cool table that was bar height, that would seat all of us and had room around it for wandering & socializing. Mark got there soon after. Turns out Brad got there almost immediately after, but he ended up hustling some kid at the pool tables until he found us....or was it the other way around?? Gary from Alabama also drove up and surprised us all. Smart guy, he got a hotel room within walking distance from the HH.... The rest trickled in over the next hour or so, and Kamala and Kate finally showed up after a flight delay in Miami around 10pm or so, coming back from the Mayaguana trip. Once we got our waiter, Anthony, on board with checking on us fairly frequently, I think he did a GREAT job keeping us all supplied, and there was not one error on all the separate tabs that I know of. Overall a great venue for the purpose, and we synchronized our calendars and tentatively scheduled some stateside diving in July so we could all get together again. We broke it up shortly after midnight and headed our separate ways.
BTW Mark, did you regret that last black-and-tan when you had to get up and DIVE early the next morning??? I heard you were moving a bit slow Sunday morning.....
I think a great time was had by all. Check out the faces, and I think you'll agree!
One big, happy group!
The Gallery is now OPEN!! I've moved the pics HERE.

Yes, I was moving quite slowly Sunday morning, but after a couple of hours in the 66 degree water, I was feeling almost human again.

Basically I made a comment about how I had been doing so much PowerPoint lately that I should probably be calling myself "Captain PowerPoint". Someone kindly abbreviated that to "Captain PP" so there you have it (normally at this point in the story I would have said "and things went downhill from there", but by that time of the evening they were already well on their way to "going downhill" - in fact they we almost at the bottom of the hill!).PP regardless of how SCARY it sounded...really stands for PowerPoint as JimG is the KING of power point presentations!
