Ya, know, Meowman. I could be really, really jealous of you right about now.... Wanna trade places? you come here & sit out Hurricane Frances while I take that torturous flight to WaKaToBi. :cool1:

As much as I'd love to sit out Frances I think I'll suffer thru the flight. Hope all is well and you the rest of our Floridians come thru this with as little trouble as possible. Good luck.

Well I may or may not be going to WaKaToBi. I fly thru LAX and right now it's closed. No hurricane just the usual suspects. Terroists, Homeland Securtiy and the TSA. My flight from Denver isn't till 8pm but once things get backed up at LAX it takes quite some time to unravel. Maybe being in FL watching Frances would be more fun. My flight out of LAX is scheduled for 1am Sunday morning so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Don't you just love flying.

Well LAX has reopened so I will hopefully get there and meet my connection. I hope you guys do alright down in FL and the storm picks up and moves thru quickly but that seems unlikely at this point. Good luck.

I heard it was a battery that exploded at the Bradley Terminal (LAX) and that a second incident involved a security breach in Terminal 5 or 6.

Despite trying to recover from my cold before going to see my Dad and Mom, I did two dives in the craziness (current and strong surge) that became the Dive Park today. Good encounter with a black sea bass and jack mackerel on dive #1 and a really nice small octopus who kept posing for me on dive #2. There were barely 30-40 divers there on a holiday Saturday. Although there were these four cute Japanese women doing an intro with my dive buddy/instructor Karen...

Will do some of my rescue diver exercises a the Park tomorrow, then give myself a day of rest on Monday before flying out Tues night.

Hope everyone has a great weekend... including those in Florida (as Frances quickly turns into a creme puff?).

Doc

Made my flight to LA and out of LA. I'm in Singapore right now. They have 15 mins of free internet. I'm here for 4+ hours before heading to Bali. It's currently 11:37am on Monday Sept 6. Have a good one. I'm just getting started. Hope everyone survived Frances.
