So....................... where and when is the party?
I'm guessing Sat Night (although every night they come back to dock) but tomorrow they will be a bit late since they are picking up two peeps at 9-ish and then getting 4 dives in. That will make for a late® day but Saturday should ROCK!!!
They've already hit the liquor store so maybe it will be starting early!

Soooo, how was this trip?? There should be a few of you home...
It was a good trip, the "Easy Going" is a nice boat and 6 people (cap of the boat) is not crowded at all. The food was great and the hosts very friendly. I was surprised
at the quality of some of the dives, and the reef in Fort. Lauderdale is in better shape than I would have expected. The boat is 5 mins from the airport and it's quick pickups and deliveries. We had some interesting currents on some of the dives. All the drift dives there was basically little to no current, some the mooring line dives there was massive current.
Got a few good pictures, Kate P saved the life of a huge stingray, all in all a good trip.

On topic of the stingray... The only reason Brian didn't save the stingray was that he didn't have a knife; he had seen the problem long before I did. Anyways, after really enjoying watching this large stingray for while, it occurred to me that it was strange that the stingray was letting Brian get so close to take pictures/videos. At that point I started looking for a line it could be caught on, and I found it fairly quickly. KellyDiver was able to read my jumbled hand signals requesting to borrow her knife, and handed it over, so I cut the line and the stingray swam away, happily ever after... it really was a nice sight to watch.
Speaking of the pics/video... where are they Brian?????
I just KNOW there's a story in that stingray memory... please post pics Would love to hear from others too.

Had a BLAST! Only my second trip with Single Divers, but again an awesome trip with great folks - both divers and crew.
Boat was docked about 5 minutes from the airport and the curb to dock service was great. The boat was clean and comfortable and the food definitetly hit the spot after a long day of diving.
The operator offers a trip to Bimini - one of the options when Kamala started this thread & I think I would like to give that a shot. So will be starting a thread in a new thread to see if anyone else is up for it.
