Sorry Howard :( Didn't mean to :D Trying to clear my schedule to jump on the South Florida Freedivers Lionfish SMASH and kill kill kill :D I guess that sounds a little blood thirsty and not very lady like. . . . ;)

My kind of gal! I guess you could say I feel the same way! :D

LOL Still perfecting the kill technique :D and being safe. We saw another lionfish Wednesday night on the Sheri-Lynn off Miami Beach.

BTW - for the South Florida locals. REEF hosted a great "Fish and Friends" presentation in Key Largo on Tuesday. They concluded with the dissection of a lionfish!

With lobster season around the corner there’ll be more divers in the water poking around ledges and sticking their hands in holes where they can’t see. . . (Of course everyone knows they shouldn’t but reality is they do LOL) I’m working with REEF to schedule a Lionfish workshop in Miami. It will cover the history, capture and handling techniques as well as first aid. Cost will be around $25. Let me know if you’re interested in joining us.
