Hello all,
My nephew is looking to get his scuba certification. He lives in Southern California, and is asking about where he should go for his training. He is looking in the San Diego to Escondito area. He has a few dives under his belt, most likely done in Hawaii with a resort course. Any suggestions that I can pass along are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My geography of CA is really bad. We have dealt with Hollywood divers before and they are great. We also have members on the site from CA that are instructors so may be able to assist that way as well. Hopefully they will see this post! kamala

Escondido is just a few miles up the road from me (and over 100 miles away from Hollywood divers). If he wants to stay local, he can check out Ocean Enterprises. I did my advanced course with them years ago. They are a bit further south towards San Diego in Kearny Mesa.
