I was on the first atocha dive adventure where i was able to experience of a lifetime to live, eat, breath and dive for treasure and history for a week.  I walked away with a experience of a lifetime and one I will never forget.   The opportunity gave me treasure fever, that turned into becoming a investor with mel fishers, where over the past year all that i have learned a great deal about the wrecks, the artifacts, the coins and the conservation that goes into these piece so they can live on as well as the Fun the romance the adventure.  It's hard to put a value on the past year and what I have done / experienced has been worth more then the money that was invested.  I would have been in Key West more but a back injury took the wind out of that back in January.   The Fishers are known for the Atocha and the Santa Margarita, but there is more on the horizon that they are working on that could eclipse that as the hurricane in 1622 sank 5 ships.

Even though over 400 million in treasure has been recovered from the Atocha and margarita sites the stern castle is still out there.  The  stern castle is where wealth passengers stayed, for which there were 38 members of spanish royalty onboard the Atocha and stored there personal treasure and property, as well as un-manifested contraband of silver, gold, jewels, etc.  additionally there still is over a 100,000 silver coins and 300 silver bars still to be recovered from the Atocha and 80,000 silver coins and 150 silver bars, and 35 boxes of church gold and silver, as well as tens of thousands of other items from antiquity that have not seen the light of day or human hands in nearly 400 years.  The potential return on a 1/8th share if the sterncastle is found could be 100 to 1 or better, and over several years there has been atleast a 10% ROI, and in 2007 when the lead box of pearls ( contained over 16,000 natural pearls from .01 ct to over 50 ct) was found on the margarita (total value of those pearls was over $7.7 million) was 1.8 to 1 or you investors got $18,000 in treasure for there $10,000 investment.

I have a a 1/8th share (1/8 of one percent) that is coming up for renewal very soon, that this year i am willing to consider splitting the share this year.  Normally a 1/8 the share is 10K for a one year term.  If someone wasn't able to commit to a 1/8 share but could partial this is a opportunity for you.
