How do I post a link?

When I click on the link icon, I get three blank lines. I am not able to type anything into the first two, and the bottom one says insert link, but I can't insert anything. I don't get it.

Sandy, I just right-clicked on your post #1 and selected Copy Link Location, and clicked on the Insert Link icon and pasted into the two top lines (URL and Link Text) and clicked Insert, and this is what I got:

http://www.singlediv...ndpost&p=278925

or, alternatively, you can type whatever you want to in the Link Text line as long as the URL line has the proper link info:

Type whatever you want

Thanks Tammy. That's kind of easy.

How would I link to a thread rather than an individual post? Can we no longer give names to the links rather than posting the actual link?

Go to the thread you want to link, and highlight/copy the URL that shows at the very top of your screen, and paste that into the URL line. See my edited post above regarding naming the link....the second line, you can type whatever you want to! Well, within TOS anyway.... :P
