Hey gang we finally did it! We created a SingleDivers.com FaceBook Page. It is located HERE!

We have 202 members and the following members as admins:

* Kate aka Katep (Atlanta, GA)
* George aka Tolly (Vancouver, BC)

* Mercy aka Mercy (UF)
* Mark aka DiveGeek (Atlanta, GA)

So join as a member of the new page! And please help us make it a better page! We are VERY NEW TO THIS so all suggestions welcome!

QUESTION #1:

When someone posts on your wall and then replies, the reply is under the original post...that I get. But if I reply to a post on the wall that was done say a month ago...does it bump it up like here in the forums or does it stay buried in the wall's content?

QUESTION #2:

Can anyone post content on the wall that is a member of the group? It seems yes! It also seems that the only content on the wall that is shown is SD content from the members and not the content from the member's walls like happens in the personal fb accounts? Can you make your personal account the same way? And if you do I guess the downside is you don't see what is happening in your friends lives...

Have I got a handle on this or am I missing something? Thank you! (Still REALLY trying to figure out how FB works!)

Yes, anyone signed up with the Group can post on the Groups Wall. Depending on your Privacy Settings, others may be able to post as well.

Someone with more experience can correct me, but I think you're confusing the Wall with the News Feed.

My personal Wall has only my own content, or what someone places on my wall directly. The News Feed is a running list of what you and all your Friends have been posting, wherever they are posting it. Privacy Settings that each individual sets up will either allow or limit who sees what in the News Feed. Personally, I only let Friends see my Wall postings & personal info, but I let Friends of Friends see my photos.

I do not know if your Group has News Feed capabilities,,,,,,, but those of us who are signed up as part of your Group get everything you post on the Group's Wall showing up on our News Feed.

I just figured out how to invite all the SD'ers who were friends of Kamala to be friends of our SingleDivers.com group page! Please accept the invite if you aren't already a friend!

VERY COOL UPDATE:

We now have 550 members to our new group page and thanks to some of our awesome admins LLDN and others we have several of our trips posted as events on facebook as well!
