Here's a question for you all. I've been knocking this around in my head for a while (and it sounds like a marble in a tin can). Conceptually, I like the idea but I wonder if it's one of those things that's better in principle than in practice. I've seen, both in my LDS and in ads, the scuba kayak ... you can strap your gear behind you and paddle out to your destination. Saves the long swim, to be sure. Anyone have any experience here?

Not me. Like you, I have seen them advertised and wondered if they're all they're cracked up to be.
