RUMOR: Habitat in Curacao closing?

Been hearing rumors that Habitat in Curacao has or is closing, with most staff released and the owners pondering the future.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

As of Jan 19 they were up and running. Fellow divers from a Lions resort trip took a auto ride over there in the afternoon to check resort out and Playa Maria. Feedback was that they wanted you to buy some drinks or trinkets at shops if you wanted to view property. Some thing may be in the wind!!
