On another note.
I had a Old Steel Tank ,when it failed.I turned it into a Bell.Cut it down to about 1/4 of the lenght.Kept the old K valve in it and hung a object inside to bang the side of the Tank.Just a conversation pc.& a Dinner bell.

I've spoken with OTWDiver and here is his reply:

Tumble if very dirty, corrosion, oxidation. This can be done at your local dive shop. Then clean with simple green if you just want to sterilize it.

He should use simple green for cleaning the tank. Follow dilution instructions for general cleaning strength and rinse very well. Drink some water from it after cleaning and see if it tastes clean. If not repeat. Once it tastes clean you can proceed to use it for your keg project.

Good luck and don't forget to save me a bottle. OTWDiver

What do people use in places (most of the world) where Simple Green isn't available? I had never heard of it until I visited the US.

I've never heard of anyone in Britain using it.
