While not a consumer show...DEMA is our annual industry tradeshow and SD attends regularily with OMS one of our partners. We "sell" travel at this show to other dive groups, dive shops and trip leaders. And we get to meet our diving pros at this show as well as local members at our annual Happy Hour! 2012 will have a new venue this year so stay tuned for more details!

THIS year is Orlando, but THIS THREAD is for 2012... who knows, maybe I might decide to become a divemaster by then and attend!Wow what happened to the rotation? as Orlando was supposed to be this year.

Wow what happened to the rotation? as Orlando was supposed to be this year.
Coming off a 24hr shift again?
2011 is in Orlando and 2012 is in Vegas but at a different convention center. That means we have to scope out new HH places etc.

I'm resurrecting this thread as it now appears that I have a 50% chance of being able to attend this year. Anyone else going?

Thanks Mark...it is not almost 80% chance I am NOT going due to family issues. Bill will not be going which is another strike and I have a trip that starts the 17th...so it could only be a day or so and its awful expensive to go for anything less than the whole show...

Mark you never looked at my calender when you planned your wedding...if you had I would have been there!
And yes things are getting better but both our families need our help right now so we will answer the call... there will always be another DEMA but you only have one family and they are perishable...
