[Landlocked Dive Nut]

We're working on the next event! After the cool event Tray is putting together in Manhattan, KS for this Saturday, we need another event to look forward to.

Everybody was looking for either a soccer game or a Royals game this summer. Since the Royals have been around a while, Jen aka Soccerjeni & I met up last night and decided the brand-new Live Strong soccer stadium would be a great place to meet up at the end of July.

The plan is to meet near or at the stadium & park near each other so we can tailgate for a few hours before the game starts at 7:30pm. We can work on who brings what for the tailgating after we see who all is coming.

So that we can all sit together during the game, I'd like to get a head count so I can purchase a block of tickets like I did for the Chiefs game, and you can pay me for your ticket when we meet up.

SO, who's in? And, do you have a preference for seating areas in the new stadium?

Anybody from out of town want to come in for this?? Jen and I both have spare rooms!! We can expand the event to include other activities for out-of-towners that come in.

Well, shoot. So far, Cass aka Hammered Head has said that's her birthday, and she'll be on a road trip with her SO. Scott aka drifter and his SO will be at a wedding in St. Joseph that day.

Tammy it was so great meeting you the other night! I had a lot of fun!

I talked to 2 of my friends. My friend Lisa would like a ticket. Before my friend Sabrina can fully commit, she needs to check on something.

As far as seating goes, I looked at their seating chart & prices: http://www.sportingk...1-seating-chart. I think I would be fine with sitting in the South Stand ($18) or the East Stand ($25). If others would prefer something different I would be willing to consider it.

And if it makes more sense to postpone this until late August or early September, I'm okay with that too! Whatever works best for everyone.

(But Tammy I'm still up for going diving in the Lake!)

Nothing wrong with a few of us going to this game, and doing it again later so Scott & Cass can join in!! May not do an elaborate tailgate if there are only 3 of us, though. I'll have to get tickets for the 7/30 game by 7/18 though, so if let me know about Sabrina. Anybody else want in?

My schedule for August if fairly open on weekends right now, so Jen check your schedule and pick a day/weekend you'd like to dive Table Rock Lake, and we'll post it here in case someone else wants to come, too.

I will get on a date in August right after I come back from AOW class this weekend. YAY! I'm nervous and excited at the same time!

I won't get the tickets until the 26th at the earliest, so plenty of time!
