I just moved to S FL from CA to work on dive charter boats as a Divemaster/instructor and to also gain experience on larger vessels for my USCG 100 ton Captain's License. I have been an instructor and Public Safety Diver for several years as team leader and county head for all water related (above and below) rescue teams. I have an extensive amount of experience on smaller boats (prop and jet) as owner and rescue boat technician/instructor in both dynamic and static environments. I am a retired police officer and business owner for over 15 years meaning I know how to work with, treat and act professionally around clients to make their experience with the company as memorable as it can be with the intention of providing repeat and referral business. I know that I have the skill, desire, ability, attitude and personality for this position but I am lacking the local contacts who can point me in the right direction and vouch for the quality person that I am. I have always been successful in everything I do but I need a chance to get started in order to prove my worth. I have made a lot of sacrifices to get here by leaving everything behind including family, friends, my business and everything else I know to escape the cold black water mud diving for clear warm seas where my passion for the sport and the water can thrive. I would rather have a low income and a smile than remain smothered in my office behind a desk doing work that I don't love. I can send a resume, references and whatever else is needed to anyone that can help me get wet on a regular basis. Thank you for your time and consideration in advance to anyone who can possibly point me in the right direction or put me in contact with those able to hire. Have a great day.
Brett
