First off I want to thank ALL of you who have steadily and thoughtfully prayed or kept my Aunt in your thoughts and meditations. She has been surviving her stage 4 lung cancer despite being a non-smoker very well thanks to all the positive energy directed towards her.

She REALLY needs that same positive energy directed towards her again....

We thought she suffered a stroke due to water on the brain but she was misdiagnosed and they have now discovered that she has a brain tumor that caused the stroke like symptoms. She has been transferred to 4 hospitals today and the last I heard she was awake and responding.

Please Please Please send out your good thoughts, positive energy and prayers....we need another miracle!

(She is the Aunt that takes care of my massively brain damaged cousin who can not take care of himself. He will be devestated without her.)

UPDATE:

The tumors caused her to present stroke symptoms hence the misdiagnoses. Since she could not speak for herself she could not advise that she was a cancer patient or they would have checked for other causes. (Those who live alone should SERIOUSLY consider a medical alert bracelet of some sort.) So they started the blood thinners and transferred to the hospital. There they thought she had water on the brain so transferred her to another hospital that also could not treat her. Finally at the 3rd hospital they figured out the water was really a tumor and then they had to transfer to yet a 4th hospital ie. John Hopkins.

Because of the blood thinners they can not operate on her. If they try to thicken the blood they could cause a real stroke so must wait 7 days until they can safely operate. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE offer any prayers you can, good thoughts, karma, positive vibes and all the positive energy you can muster in her direction. It saved her once...it can save her again!

My gosh, what a tragedy, and with serious repercussions seriously affecting other family members. Will be mustering prayers with local church this weekend as well; meanwhile, please ensure YOU are taking sufficient care of yourself! As the clear family linchpin, you play a vital role in the overall well-being of your family, close and extended.

Kamala your aunt is in good hands now as i was going to suggest hopkins as I thought she was in the DC area. JH has one of the best cardiology and neurology departments in the country not to mention one of the top teaching and research institutions in the country.

Thank you all...the power of this community and so many others gave us one miracle...and there is still time for another one. And even if its her time...nothing is wasted and all your energy and prayers and good karma and meditations will result in either a longer period of time on this earth or it will give her a higher quality of time on this earth. And she has been such a powerhouse of pure strength... until today. Today she has cried and cried. She is afraid and she is having numerous seisures and can not speak correctly. They can not operate because they thinned her blood thinking she had a stroke. And maybe she did...but the brain has bleeding and she is not in good shape right now.

But I'm not giving up and neither is she. So I beg that you not give up either...I am forever indebted to you all for helping me and her thru this. I love her so much and have waited too long to go and see her. Now I only hope I can see her before she dies. I may be traveling next week to see her. I will keep you all posted. Thank you again for caring so much...it means the world to me.

STATUS UPDATE:

My aunt was able to get into surgery today and thanks to your prayers she survived the surgery AND they were able to operate on the tumor and got it all.

The bad news...it was all cancerous BUT if they got it all then she has bought a little more time.
