This a copy of a post I put on another board with some additions but I had to share it here as well.

I got out on Friday with Olympus and the vis on the Papoose was so bad they didn't tie in. So we started back in and tried the Spar. It was more than 250 feet from where it was before the storm. She was turned 180 deg around and has about a 45 deg list to port. I could not find any structural damage but the vis was only 8 or 10 feet on the first dive and 5 or 6 on the second. The foredeck on the port side is level with the sand in about 117 fsw. Lots of bait fish and a couple big barracuda but i didn't hear anyone say they saw any sand tigers.

There were 15 or so dolphins that just came alongside the Olympus for 10 minutes while Bobby found the wreck and we got tied in. They just frolicked about in very close proximity. I've seen dolphins on almost every dive trip with Olympus but never the interaction with them as they glided by on their sides and looked us over very carefully from just a few feet away and leaping clear of the water. It was awesome.

It will be interesting to dive her in more standard conditions.

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.

If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.
