We need to pick a date for the annual tailgating / KC Chiefs game.

I was just thinking about this today!! The Chiefs may be struggling this year, but the tailgating and camaraderie more than make up for it.
Our annual sale has not been scheduled yet, but I'm betting it's the weekend of 12/3, so that's the only date I could not make it.

Tickets will probably be $50-$60 as usual, and I can pick them up at the box office no problem if we get a head count.

So, who's in besides me and Hawk?? (Will you be bringing your new bride, Hawk?)

Nooooo. Cold weather, football and crowds are three strikes against her coming.

How about Nov. 13 against Denver?

I could swing that date, but Scott & Tanja could not....they already have a Chiefs game in November, and they're on a tight budget this year with Scott back in school. They prefer October due to weather, but we might get them to a December game!

We'd probably be able to make any of the next 3 home games. We're definitely out on 11/27 and 12/24.
Here's the home schedule they have left:


10/31 (Monday night) vs Chargers
11/6 Dolphins
11/13 Broncos
11/27 Steelers
12/18 Packers
12/24 Raiders

Ugh...it keeps piling up here. I will now be out of town the 6th-7th to the thriving metropolis of Dodge City :-)

Hawk, you're the farthest away, so pick the game you want and at least you & I can go!

Nathan & Anita are also in again this year, and don't care which game. Great news, they're FINALLY starting their dive cert process!

Jen aka SoccerJeni is interested and so are a couple of diver friends of hers. I'll poke Tray via text as well, to see if he'd like to come again this year.

I'll check with Cass, but if it's after 11/6 she'll be on her way to Alaska to live! And, she may be too busy packing up her house before then. I'll still ask!

I'd definitely love to join you guys! I have season tickets and am planning to be at all the remaining games. So any date works for me.

OK, since Hawk first mentioned 11/13 against the Broncos, let's go with that date -- unless someone speaks up ASAP!

If anyone is bringing a guest, let me know so I can get enough tickets. I will have to get them in the next week or so.

* If Hawk can bring his little grill & charcoal, that would be great.
* I will provide the food that needs cooking! (burgers, dawgs, beans & all associated fixin's)
* I have lots of beer left over from my party, so I can bring that, too (Bud, Bud Light, & Coors Light)

I'll let others volunteer for sodas, chips, plates/napkins, and dessert, and anything else they prefer.

That all sounds wonderful, Jen! Bring whatever you like, just post it here so we don't repeat. Do you have any friends that need tickets, or will they sit with you in your season ticket seats? I just need a head count for food if they don't need tickets.
