I renewed my premier membership on 3/1/2012. It has not been updated on the site. Help.

Hello Dave,

I show you at Premier Level, and in the database your last renewal appears properly logged the evening of 29 February (Pacific time). If right now your profile appears to still be at standard Member level on your machine, try logging off the Forums site, clearing your browser cache and then log back in. Please post here if that does not resolve your profile status question.

I logged off and shut my computer off and it did not update my profile. I cleared my history but not sure how to clear my cache. I'm a little computer illiterate. I appreciate your help.

Dave,

In Internet Explorer, at the top look for the line with "File Edit View" etc. This is called the Command Line. If you do not see the line at the top of the page, it is sometimes hidden. Press and release the ALT key next to the space bar one time and the line should appear at the top of the page.

On that line, look for the command "Tools". Click once on that, and there should appear a drop down menu. At the bottom of the list is the command "Options". Click that one.

A small window should appear with several tabs along the top. At the far right there should be a tab "Advanced". Click that one. A long list of checkbox options should appear. Over halfway down this list there should be an unchecked box "Empty temporary files on exit". Check that box, click okay, and after that, close Internet Explorer.

Just to be thorough, I would then also restart that computer, though usually that is not necessary. Open Internet Explorer, and return to SingleDivers.com forums and check your Member Status. It should reflect Premier Member as I see it.

Well, I did as described, only with Mozilla. It must not be the same as it did not update as I read it. No big deal, as long as I'm updated with you guys. That is the important place. Thanks for your help.

As I understand it, his cache is not refreshing. He uses Mozilla Firefox, and the IE instructions don't work for Firefox.

Can anybody help with cache refreshing instructions for Firefox?

Gosh PPM, my machine must be different from yours. Every time I press that combination, instead of like, catching my history or whatever, my screen thingee starts all over. It's almost as if it, like, puts it's boots back on?... :bam:
