The Kid is a pre-Disney Kurt Russell. Around the same time he did this, he also appeared on an episode of Lost In Space.
The Narrator is William Conrad, known for his voice and IIRC radio's Lone Ranger.

You are correct, PlatypusMan, on both counts
Congratulations Stan for answering first, but you missed on spelling, as well as the bonus for the narrator.

Useless legend: The story goes that the last words Walt Disney said just prior to his death were Kurt Russell's name.
While Russell was Disney's biggest star at the time, it falls into the same category as "Rosebud" falling from the lips of the dying Kane in Citizen Kane--no one seems to know why he said it, and at that particular moment.

Are you sure that wasn't "Dexter RIley"?

No--but Dexter's last word was allegedly 'Applejack'. I'm told Mr. Arno was NOT pleased.
