I'll be out of vacation time (not to mention $$) by November so I won't be able to make it on whatever trip gets planned. :banghead:

But ... if anyone wants to do a short, cheaper 4 day long weekend trip over Thanksgiving (Wed. or Thurs through Sunday) somewhere not very far away (Coz or FL?), this might be a possibility from my end. Although I'll probably eat my words when I find out how much airfare is... Not sure if anything like this would work-- But.. ya just never know, I' can't rule anything out at this point.. Thinking Positive!! :teeth:

Wendy, aka SeaLioness of MN :diver:

Wendy, if getting a small group together helps Kamala lobby for a discount please count me in for a long weekend in the Keys. I usually drive down from North FL in my pickup, which makes a great mule for hauling gear back and forth between the DO and hotel. :cool2: In my experience late November in the Keys usually has water in the upper 70's with great viz; all I really need is an excuse to go! :diver:

I love Little Cayman - I went in July and the crossing was kind of rough to take the boat over to Cayman Brac and do the Tibbets (sad face)

Anyway, if there is something in the works for November that is close (I need more notice for Pacific trips), I would definitley be down. I can go over Thanksgiving, too!

I am interested in a warm water trip in the Nov time frame but not over Thanksgiving. I could be happy with almost anyplace as long as I can get there without too much trouble.

Hey Kamala

A minor hijack of this thread but you know what might be fun someday? A mystery trip. You post it and we all rendezvous at one of the "diving hub" airports. IAH,MIA,LAX,CLT and we get to learn where we are going once we have to board the plane.

Just a random thought.

I tried the mystery dish at an expensive restaurant in Scottsdale once on vacation....well it ended up being over cooked TUNA. Not even Ahi, my Fav, my Mom said...I knew you'd hate it. My point is...you have to really trust someone that is throwing you a mystery trip. It's probably only something a significant other can pull off. Maybe I'll change my mind once I meet you all. The wait is killing me.Posted Image
