Here is my video trip report. Unfortunately, it cannot convey how cold it was on land (no heat in the rooms or in the lodge) and on the water, and how brutal and punishing it was to spend 6+ hours per day out on the water without breakfast or lunch (we set off at daybreak before the restaurant opened), not to mention the physical drain wrought by the incessant hard pounding of the boat as it raced at high speed in heavy seas miles offshore to any spot thought to be a bait ball, usually arriving after the action was over. Because it was the dead of winter (late June / early July) the sun was very low in the sky and the light harsh, not the best conditions for making videos. The bar, however, was well stocked and the late lunch and evening meals excellent. Esprit de corps of the expedition members was fantastic with people of all ages from around the world (few Americans). The expedition staff and crew were the best. An experience not to be missed!
