Army here. Just got home to NY from Bragg. Riding out my leave right now. 1 tour in Iraq and now some free time to learn to dive.

Got you updated as well! Now get out there and spread the word to other non-divers interested in learning...as well as those that are already certified!!!

Thanks my dear! Let us know what we can do for you! -ww

Salute to the brothers in uniform :welcome: Was active for 10 years, just a part timer now with the guard. Keep your heads low and your butts lower! Your service is appreciated.

Hello my name is Rob

I am a Specialist (rank) with the Wisconsin National guard and currently stationed in Kuwait and running convoy security missions All across Iraq.

Does this mean I get the cool little diver in uniform tag on the side?

I can honestly say diving is at an all time low here in Kuwait, especially since I cant get anywhere near an ocean or even a body of water that isnt inches deep. that really chaps my ___ :D

but from the posts I read this ones for you :cool1:

Hello everyone. I am stationed in Hawaii, Schofield Barracks. Just recently I completed the Open Water dive course and can't wait to get other courses under my belt. Working in a small detachment (Army K-9), I don't get a chance to meet with other divers in my unit. I do have one I have dove with so far and it was awsome. If only our schedule would work better together to dive more, it would be great but that is not the case. Hope to find other military in Hawaii who wants to dive anytime. Thanks.

Many thanks to all our men and women in uniform stationed around the world. We owe all our freedoms to you and to past military. As the daughter of a retired USAF and TANG Lt. Col, I will always appreciate what you do to provide us with the ability to worship and speak freely without fear.

I think about and pray for y'all daily! Welcome to SingleDivers! :D

Hello all,
I just posted on the main page but wanted to also post in the military section. I have been in the US Coast Guard for the last 21 years. I have been lucky enough to have been stationed up and down the East coast of this country and to have spent many years on ships in the Caribbean. I am proud to have served and am happy to continue serving.

<Excellent reasons for serving deleted>

If you want to email me personally, one of my military email addresses is gungho.gijoe@us.army.mil . I'll reply as often as possible.

Hello, I'm LT Eric Petrevich from the 102 CAV. I'm glad to have found this site and I'm looking forward to meeting many of you.

I have a quick question for you, how did you get a "personalized" @us.army.mil address? I'm curious as to how you can set up an alais on AKO.

Thanks.

Eric

I just wanted to thank everyone here - both my brothers and sisters in arms for fighting the good fight and to everyone else supporting us. Its nice to know there are people who understand you can still support your soldiers no matter how you feel about their actions.

I've been to Iraq once already and heading to Afghanistan next. Until then...

Perhaps by sponsoring an additional account with that first and last name? That's the only way I know to set it up; I'd be interested in hearing how that was done as well. :cool2:

I think AKO is trying to clean those up. I heard that people are having to convert back to first.last. The controls are a lot tighter now.

Aurelius,

Where in Afghanistan are you going? Are you going as an ETT? Some of us just got back and at least one is still there. Are you a 6.0? Good luck and be safe.

Tony

Kabul is not so bad - just keep your head down. I was a Bosnia babe myself for a while...
