Hey everyone...there is plenty to do in the Singapore airport so no transit room needed. There is a special Changi bucks deal where you can get some free airport dollars if your ticket was booked after a certain point. You'll see info areas and you can see if your ticket was bought after Oct 15th. You may be able to get it just by presenting the ticket stub and NOT the receipt and say you got it after Oct 15th. (It worked for one of our peeps!) You'll get $40 changi bucks and you can use them to take s shower in the transit lounge and get a day pass for approx $20-30. They do not give change so try to get as much at one vendor as you can for your changi bucks.
They can be used for food, drink and other purchases. There is free wifi in the airport in certain places and free computer terminals as well near the info stations and the Starbucks.
You can do TONS of things in this airport...its a destination in and of itself!
