IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Hello everyone...2013 has been a very difficult year for me personally and its not over with yet. My grandmother has been on death watch for the past several weeks now and she lost the battle a couple of days ago. Fortunately I had recently arrived to be with my mom for the holidays as she is now in a state of distress and turmoil that is indescribable... and I have entered my own similar state worrying about her as well as mourning the death of my beloved grandmother and friend. The last few days have been a blur with funeral arrangements and somehow we've managed to pull everything together for a Dec 26 viewing and Dec 27th funeral in the DC area. As if this time of year was not busy enough...I will now be flying to DC early the 26th, flying home late the 27th and catching my 5:30am flight on the 28th for our Saba St Kitts trip.

Now I am praying for good weather for all of my upcoming flights AND a few quiet moments to be able to finish posting this trip. An amazing team of SD volunteers have been helping me to prepare the next trip postings on the calendar since we are rebuilding all the code and reformatting the trips into a cleaner, more readable and understandable format.

Please bear with me as I struggle to do what I need to do for you and our community...and still help my family thru this very difficult and painful time for our family.

Hey John...in DC for my Grandmother's funeral...WOW you touch a lot of lives when you live to be 100! I hope to stay awake long enough on the flight back to finish the trip booking since I have to rebuild all the code and format into our new trip format. I made decent progress on the flight down. I also have a 3 hr layover in CLT Sat on the way to our NYE trip that I can finish if necessary. I'm uber close to being done.

Take your time and do it right. We are still 5 months out from the trip and some are facing holiday bills. A new format? Does this mean I will have to back off the Enter key to re-work the signup info I have ready to go. Oh Man, another delay! />

And what are you doing up at 4:30am????? Unless it is the END of a good party, (or an overnight work shift) civilized people are still sleeping at that hour.

John the booking template will be the same...or nearly the same...but the format will be different...check out the Maldives trip for an idea of our new format.

We leave for the funeral in a few minutes so you work when you can....

Even money the opening post has salt water on it from your St Kitts trip. Have fun (and again, my condolences on the death of your Grandmother. )
