[Cajun Diver]

I put some pics in the Bonaire 2013 photo gallery and will add more later to match what I put on Facebook.

I had a great time and will probably be back sometime this summer since I have a nephew starting to dive and figure this would be a good place to dive with him.

Yes it was a great trip. I personally just did the check out and boat dives, which totalled 16 for my week, but I know there were people who did many more.

This was my 2nd time to Bonaire, the first was back with SingleDivers in 2008. The truth is that very little has changed. It was one of my favorite all time trips back then, and nothing really changed that this time.

Yes they have lionfish. Even saw it on a few of the resturant menus. But they were few and far between. Some of them were pretty big though.

Food was good as always, and service definitely improved as the week went on.

WW said her contract for this resort goes through next year so it sounds like this one will be up for 2014 as well. Strongly recommend this one, especially for newer divers as I found the last time. Diving doesn't get much easier than this.

I wanted to say thank you to all of you for such a wonderful trip! I enjoyed your company very much, and I'm really looking forward to more trips with all of you!
Special thanks to Kamala and all of SD for putting it all together and to all of you for all the kind words of advice and support which made me a better diver in a shorter period than I could have ever imagined. I really appreciate it. Special thanks to Mike for the candies, and Mike/Scuba Turtle for letting me lead on a scooter on a one way curvy road against the traffic. Unforgettable memories.




P.S. I now finally understood the meaning of the phrase - to feel like a fish out of water. That's definitely the way I feel on this beautiful Monday morning...
