SAVE THE DATES....the PNW SHOW will be in SEATTLE this year rather than Tacoma April 5-6, 2014.

The show producers have announced that they are moving the Tacoma Dive & Travel show to the beautiful Seattle waterfront for 2014. They have also changed the name of the show to be more inclusive of other watersports. The new name is the SCUBA & H2O Adventure Show and their theme is "It's all about the Water".

The new Seattle show dates are April 5-6, 2014. The new location is fantastic. The show will be held on the waterfront at Seattle's Smith Cove – Pier 91. Smith Cove, located at the end of Seattle's waterfront, is just 3 miles from the Seattle Aquarium and iconic downtown core.

So plan to join us.... more details will be coming soon! Kamala

Hi Cindy, I will put you and Tom on the list to help out! :thankyou: I think Kamala may have been hinting around for help, suggestions in particular, regarding setup for the Happy Hour. :respect:

Oh and I noticed your profile lists your address as Houston, I am guessing that may have changed. :angel2: Just a friendly note in passing. Glad you both can join us at the PNW Dive Show! :diver: :diver:

My very first post! I'd like to help. As this event is in my backyard it would be a great way for me to meet some people from the group.

Hi Ellen, and let me join Clint in saying welcome aboard. :welcome: You're quite right about the opportunity helping at the dive show makes for meeting other members face to face. How fortunate we have one coming up right in as you say your own back yard. :cool1: We look forward to hearing more from you, and diving with you on one of Kamala's future trips! :diver:

Hello All:

Starting to decide where we all would like to have Happy Hour.

Just to get things started I have looked up a few options that are very close to pier 91 if we all want to be close to the show. Although I live in Seattle, I am not familiar with of any particular location so the suggestions are really from yahoo and yelp.

The Tasting Room (wine bar) - 1924 Post Alley - Downtown
Shorty's (Dive bar - no pun intended) - 2222 2nd ave - Belltown (just a few blocks n of downtown)
Roccos (Bar and Pizza) -2228 2nd ave - Belltown
ZigZag Cafe - (bar) -
Von's 1000 Spirits - 1225 1st ave - downtown
Diller Room - 1224 1st ave
Allibi Roonm - 85 pike st

No particular preference on my part here.

I am a local and can check things out if anyone has a preference or specific idea.

Look forward to meeting everyone.

Heather aka Oceanlover
