More good news. Was at the Historical Diving Society Conference in Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago and talked with a couple of older divers that have had severe cases of the bends, one guy had both ears at the same time and left the hospital barely able to walk. They both assured me that with time and careful reintroduction to diving that I will be fine to do what I've always done. The guy with the two ears is back doing the Doria. So that was very encouraging for me. Time will tell what I will be able to do, but it is nice to know that I "should" be able to get back in the groove.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

Dave

That certainly is encouraging news buddy. Thanks for the update.

Been awhile but I got back in the saddle yesterday. Did two dives at a local quarry. Easy 30' - 30 minute dives. So great to be back underwater. Even though I walk 7 miles a day my calves were a little sore from the swimming motion, especially with a drysuit, ankle wts, rock boots and large fins. Was expected and a small price to pay. They will be back in shape soon enough.

I'd like to really thank everyone for all the nice words. This is a great community.
