I'm planning on going to some of these and wanted to post and see if anyone else from the area might be able to join me.

They are at the Galveston Moody Gardens and the parking and presentation are FREE Posted Image

and the only issue I see is they are on Wednesday evenings - more from their website:

I made it to this presentation and enjoyed it. They had divers in the aquarium and showed the equipment they use. They also talked about how they document changes and the different measuring processes.
