FYI

I think artificial sweeteners are used in diet coke which are probably synthetic compounds that were created by mad scientists for big profit, therefore I suggests it is probably bad for your health.

Whereas, Ginger Ale is a clear effervescent nonalcoholic drink flavored with ginger extract. As all divers know ginger is used to avoid sea sickness and is just good for the body.

Question for KK... .... Can the resort provide an ample supply of ginger ale, at least equal to coke???

Just Asking?????

Holy Moly! 15lbs is not much in that carry on! I'm finding that I am able to pack my Reg, Mask, Camera and some small things and that's it! Maybe I'll take a smaller bag...

Will anyone have regulator tools with them (like Metric Allen Wrench and Open end wrench)? I was going to bring mine but tools are heavy!

No worries Shelly,

I always carry tools and I'm sure the resort dive shop has them too.

I'm definitely going to be over the 15lbs carry on, but I've asked around and it seems they generally don't weigh the carry on unless it's over sized or you're walking around like it weighs too much. I'm willing to take the chance or pay the fiddler for the extra pounds. I'm more worried about checked in luggage not making it to the resort on time than I am paying a few extra bucks on over weighting.

Probably going to bring my BC, Regs, Computers, Mask, ipad, some clothes, etc all in a lightweight backpack. I'm proabaly bringing a travel vest that I can stuff with stuff too. they never weight those lol!!

Yeah, I think I can handle the extra $.50/lb. Otherwise there is just no way!

Yes they have an ample supply of ginger ale!

Remember that all the sodas are extra charge so you may want to hit the local shop if you want to offset your soda addiction a bit~! ;)

REMINDER:

Anything over the weight limits = extra charges AND the possibility that all bags do not arrive that day. They can't always makes sure that the person with 2 bags is the one that has one delayed.

So try to pack as light as you can and remember to unpack about half your clothes and you'll be just fine!

Thanks KK... for the head up, lighten the load, which I will do.

Ready to move out with our dive troops tomorrow. Most of the battle will be over after we get to the MIA airport!!
