Hey all,
I have to go in for day surgery at UTMB on Wednesday (GYN, 'nuff said there!). Asking for prayers/vibes/etc. that things will go well and that it will resolve some long standing problems I have been having.
Also hoping for a speedy recovery so I that can get back to my three favourite kinds of diving (scuba-, free-, and sky-)!

Well,a week later and I have made the unpleasant discovery that things are NOT the way that they should be. (i.e. problems have not been solved) Posted Image

The good part is that things are no worse. The bad part is that things are no better, nor will they magically change as things heal. I am also out several thousand in deductible/co-pays and still facing several more weeks of downtime. Posted Image

I have already had it out with my doctor, and looking for someone else with the proper medical skills to make things right.

I am not looking forward to further surgeries, but enduring things as they have been is not an option either. Not sure what to ask for at this point other than prayers, vibes, etc. that I will find a doctor who can correct things, and the means to get it done in a timely manner.

Interviewed several other doctors, including some on the west coast, and southwest. The one I feel best about also has the shortest wait time. Nevertheless, I am still on the waiting list until april, Praying for a cancellation, so it may happen sooner.
