I'm set to arrive at 5:30pm on Thursday. However... there is a winter storm alert for heavy wet snow for Chicago tomorrow evening. I'm hoping it either misses or ends early enough for them to clean the runways. They are predicting it to be over by 9pm so we will see. I'll send Kamala an update if there's an issue. Assuming all goes well I'm hoping to just go to the hotel after collecting my luggage etc. Walking, touring etc sounds good as does dinner Friday. Safe travels all.

How about if we meet in the hotel lobby or bar (if they have a bar?) at 7 p.m. Friday night?

Sure. Weather forecast is better for Chicago now. High winds, rain and ONLY 1-3" inches of snow. That's nothing for O'Hare airport!
I'm set to leave at 8am. Merry Christmas and see Ya there.

Maybe for anyone interested, plan to meet in the lobby at 11am Friday morning for anyone wanting to just poke around Quito/lunch in a group and 7pm in the lobby to go out for Dinner?

Flight from Dallas to Miami was late, so I will miss my original connecting flight from Miami to Quito
I have sent Kamala and Jennifer an email to notify them that I will NOT be arriving at 8:30pm today.

Once I finally arrive in Miami, then I will know if I can get on the later 5:15pm departure flight to Quito and still arrive today.

No big deal, this is why we pre-plan.

Now arriving in Quito about 9:40pm, so will look for others who are also arriving about this same time.

Stuck inside of Quito with the Phoenix blues again.

Only one United flight a day out of here.

Hope everyone had good trips home.

Thanks for a great time!

I am stuck on the plane at the gate while they try to find a mechanic that can sign the log book.
